50 years

of legacy.

a future reimagined.

For fifty years, Hayti has been a living testament to Durham’s African American legacy.

Now, with a reinvigorated identity, we step boldly into the future.

Our new mark centers the spire of the Hayti building, crowned with the vévé of Erzulie — a symbol of love and of the diasporic bond between Durham’s Hayti community and Haiti, the world’s first Black-led republic.

This season, and this symbol, mark a turning point: Hayti as an incubator of Black creativity, cultural sovereignty, and shared futures.
