Blues and Roots Celebration
The Bull Durham Blues Festival has a new look! The Hayti Heritage Center presents its “Blues and Roots Celebration,” a two-day festival honoring the legacy of African American contributions to the Blues and Roots music genres.
On Saturday, October 6th vocalist Lenora Helm along with Lana Garland will perform an original mixed media production Blues Woman, followed by the iconic B.B. King Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and member of the famed Jackson family. The Band will rock music of the late, great B.B. King along with a medley of hits by the legendary Jackson 5.
