Duke Voice Care Center Soul Ingredients Workshop
Full-day Soul Ingredients ® Workshop with Dr. Trineice Robinson-Martin at the Hayti Heritage Center. Dr. Trineice will teach exercises, techniques and performance strategies that can help you sing with power and ease in any style. The information presented will be cumulative: participants are encouraged to attend the full-day workshop from 9 AM to 9 PM. Topics will include: How the Voice Works; Vocal Registers and How to Blend and Mix Your Voice; Vocal Exercises for Warming Up and Developing Technique; Crafting Emotional Expression in Your Sound; Maximizing Your Vocal Color Choices; Increasing Vocal Stamina; Vocal Health Techniques to Prevent Voice Problems; Using Technology to Help Your Singing; Nourishing the Soul Sound and Maximizing Your Vocal Training Time; Vocal Exercises for Warming Up and Developing Technique; How to Develop Your Voice for Styles Including Jazz, Gospel, Soul, R&B, Blues, Praise & Worship, Contemporary and more (see flyer for full event schedule). You may also be interested in attending the Duke Voice Care Center 12th Annual World Voice Day Celebration on Saturday, April 14, 1-5 PM at the Hayti Heritage Center. The content will be different for the two events.
