Hayti Update on Re-Opening
HAYTI HERITAGE CENTER
RE–OPENING UPDATE
To minimize exposure to COVID-19 for patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers, the Hayti Heritage Center will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours of our indoor programming. Wearing face masks covering the nose and mouth as well as social distancing are required. The Hayti Heritage Center undergoes increased cleaning procedures before and after all performances, events, and activities.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate the current challenges posed by the surge in COVID–19 cases, and particularly the Delta variant. Although our staff and board of directors look forward to re–opening the Center for events and programs, our first priority remains the health and safety of staff, patrons, vendors, and the general public. Therefore, at this time, we will not accept rental applications for programs and events at Hayti. Unfortunately, current health and safety concerns outweigh our previous plans to re–open right after Labor Day.
We will continue to monitor updates and keep you informed of our plans moving forward. Our goal is to re–open as soon as possible, but safely!
Thank you.
