This slam is dedicated to poets who have not slammed before. We want to hear from the city’s powerful and necessary voices. Come support them as they take our stage for the first time!   

 

This month our featured poet is Brittany Barbee, a talented wordsmith and emerging documentary artist from Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies.

 

This event is on Saturday June 15th, 2019. The doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.
